DANGEROUS GOODS TRAINING FOR AIRCREW – INITIAL

Some items can pose a danger when carried on board an aircraft. As a crew member, it is essential to know how to treat items that can pose a threat to a flight. Dynamic Advanced Training’s Dangerous Goods Training for Aircrew – Initial training, will fulfil your required Dangerous Goods knowledge and regulatory compliance to ensure the safe transportation of dangerous goods by air.

In this course, participants will learn the knowledge and tools to ensure the safe transportation of dangerous goods by air. You will learn basic knowledge about dangerous goods, dangerous goods limitations, classifications, labelling and marking. You will learn how to recognise undeclared dangerous goods, provisions of dangerous goods of passengers and crew, and emergency procedures when dealing with dangerous goods.

Both theoretical and practical training will be supported by realistic scenarios. This will strengthen your skills and expertise to ensure safe transportation of dangerous goods.

This course complies with GCAA, EASA and FAA regulations, the requirements of ICAO Technical Instructions and IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations

Upon completion of this training course in Dangerous Goods Training for Aircrew – Initial, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and classify dangerous goods
  • Recognise dangerous goods labels and markings
  • Detect dangerous goods hidden in baggage
  • Understand the provisions of dangerous goods in the baggage of passengers and crew
  • Follow general dangerous goods emergency response procedures

Participants must have basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Delivery: The course is delivered at Dynamic Advanced Training, Dubai South, in both classroom and simulated environments.
Duration: Half-day
Suitability: Pilots and Cabin Crew, with a focus on private and business jet aircraft, passenger handling staff and security screening staff.
Recognition and Accreditation: All participants who complete the course receive a certificate of completion issued by Dynamic Advanced Training.
